Ralph ‘Soul’ Jackson, Al Scorch and King Tony Summer Tour Video

We will have great new content and pages for Ralph ‘Soul’ Jackson, Wiley & the Checkmates and the Birmingham Sound series.  We ran into an unused interview with Mr Wiley by King James Porter when the Checkmates were here during a trip to Chicago back in 2009.  The audio interview and piece of the live show will have you breaking out your tattered copy of We Call It Soul!

In the meantime, why not check out this video from our southern tour this last summer.  It’s not very professional and was our first time using a camera so the footage is fairly poor but get to see Ralph ‘Soul’ Jackson tearing it up at the Lamplighter in Memphis or returning to FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals since his debut recording dates in 1965.
